“Assalamu Alaikum wr wb
Dear Muslim brothers and Sisters in Ireland.

There has been no positive sighting of the moon tonight in any Muslim majority country and neither here in Ireland or Europe. Therefore tomorrow is 30 Shabaan as per Sunnah of The Holy Prophet ﷺ.

First day of Ramadan in Ireland is Thursday 17 May 2018 and the first Taraweeh will be on Wednesday night 16 May 2018.

We pray that Almighty Allah ﷻ grants us taufiq to attain Taqwaa during this blessed Month and removes the suffering of the Ummah throughout the world.”
