Our Council

A national, independent body giving Ireland’s Muslim community one recognised voice.

The Irish Muslim Council, formerly known as the Irish Muslim Peace and Integration Council, was established in 2015 as a forum for Muslims across Ireland to come together and speak on matters affecting their well-being. It represents the Muslim community at the national level while remaining independent of any single group or faction.

Alongside representation, the Council works to promote effective integration in wider society and to share the true teachings of Islam with confidence and openness.
