Evidence to inform, to advocate, and to build understanding. This is where the Council will share its research and reports on the issues facing Muslims in Ireland.
Sound advocacy rests on sound evidence.
The Irish Muslim Council is building a body of research to better understand the experiences of Muslims in Ireland, and to inform the way we engage with Government, public institutions, and wider society. This section is where that work will be published.
We are at the beginning of this journey. We are gathering evidence now, including through the reports submitted to us, and we expect to begin publishing our first research and reports over the coming year.
What we are working towards
The work ahead
Research reports
Studies on the experiences, needs, and contributions of Muslim communities in Ireland, grounded in real evidence.
Policy submissions
Formal responses to Government consultations and contributions to policy on equality, integration, and community safety.
Annual Islamophobia report
A yearly picture of anti-Muslim hatred in Ireland, built on the incidents reported to us by the community.
Built on what the community tells us
Our research begins with real experiences. If you have faced Islamophobia or anti-Muslim hatred, reporting it helps build the evidence behind this work.
Be the first to know
We will begin publishing over the coming year. Leave your details and we will let you know when our first research and reports are available.
